I cannot believe the price on this nonanamorphic letterboxed DVD. It is obsolete before it is published. How do any sell?

I agree with the other reviews that this movie is too scary. It is not in keeping with the other Pooh movies. I had not read any reviews before buying it and was very surprised at how dark and scary it was. I had to turn it off and won’t let my daughter see it again. If you are looking for something Pooh bear, happy and educational, go with the new My Friends Tigger and Pooh DVD. It came out at the beginning of March 08 and has 3 episodes (2 stories each). You can see them on TV but having them on DVD frees up your DVR and lets you take the super sleuths in the car or your portable DVD player.

-Best Winnie the Pooh book I’ve ever read! The only Winnie the Pooh book I’ve ever read… It had great illustrations and was a touching story about finding your strengths and true friendships! I’ll always remember it.

Videos are watched several times by children making the small phrases and charactor behavior in each scene as important as the overall message. If you break the movie into smaller pieces, many scenes are not child approriate. The song with owl has the phrase “grab you by the neck” which led my son saying the phrase at pre-school and thinking grabbing people by the neck was ok. Why he picked up on that one phrase, I don’t know. However, it is a phrase that is inappropriate for a young child’s song. Overall the movie’s theme is not gentle fun like the first Winnie the Pooh storybook. Watch those two movies back to back and you’ll understand the 1 star rating. Although my son liked the video, I can not let him watch it.
